 What are Neural Networks? Neural networks, also known as artificial neural networks (ANNs), are a class of machine learning models inspired by the structure and functioning of biological neural networks in the brain. They are computational models composed of interconnected nodes, called artificial neurons or "units," organized in layers. Artificial neural networks (ANNs) consist of layers of nodes, including an input layer, one or more hidden layers, and an output layer. Each node, referred to as an artificial neuron, is connected to others and possesses a weight and threshold. Activation occurs when a node's output surpasses the threshold, forwarding data to the next layer. Conversely, if the output falls below the threshold, no data is transmitted to the subsequent layer.
